Do you remember when luxury meant sitting still?
Sipping champagne in a ballgown.
Wearing satin heels that weren’t made for walking (let alone running).
Owning things that needed to be preserved, not used.
Well, scratch that.
Because now luxury… sweats.
Literally.
🧘♀️ From Dior dumbbells to Loro Piana yoga pants.
🎿 Louis Vuitton ski boots.
💨 Loewe sneakers with On Running soles.
Suddenly, being rich isn’t about owning stillness, but owning motion.
Because the world’s richest people don’t want to look rich anymore. 🤑🤑
They want to look:
✅ Active.
✅ Vital.
✅ Effortlessly in motion.
And luxury brands are racing to keep up.
Because these days, status isn’t about logos.
It’s about time.
Do you have the time to stretch at 10am?
Do you escape to the Alps mid-March?
Do you look like you just left a private reformer session, glowing but composed
That’s the fantasy now. ✨✨✨✨✨
And brands are selling it….. hard.
And speaking of motion…
Let’s talk Carlos Alcaraz.
The 21-year-old made history at the French Open 🏆
A five-set, five-hour final. Pure grit. Pure talent.
And then? A Wimbledon rematch… which he lost this time, to the same Italian rival.
But he still showed up sharp.
Poised, focused, gracious.
Dressed like a champion (even when he didn’t win).
As a Spanish woman (I can’t lie) I’m proud beyond words :)
He didn’t just perform. He personified what luxury looks like now:
Alive. Grounded. In motion. With style.
We’re in a new era.
One where performance is the new polish.
Technical fabrics are the new jewells.
And if your jacket doesn’t breathe or repel water… is it even premium?
Luxury no longer says, “Look how delicate I am.”
It says, “Look what I can do.”
That’s why heritage houses are sprinting to catch up:
🖤 Loewe x On Running
🖤 Jacquemus x Nike
🖤 Gucci x Adidas
🖤 Chanel surfboards (yes, really)
Because today, they’re not just competing with each other anymore.
They’re competing with Lululemon, Vuori, Alo Yoga, On Running….
Brands who mastered the art of technical luxury without a gold logo in sight.
💭 So here’s my take:
I’ve always believed in quality over quantity.
If you can invest in luxury, great!
But make it intentional. Make it you.
I love discovering pieces in independent stores.
I hate wearing what everyone else is wearing.
And I’ll always choose a wardrobe that feels collected, not copied.
That’s why I call myself a traveller collector.
Every time I visit a new country, I bring back a piece that captures the spirit of that place… a scarf, a blazer, a handmade earring, patterned fabrics.
Because real luxury?
It’s not about trends.
It’s about storytelling. And about you.
💡 So how do you bring this into your own wardrobe?
Prioritise fabrics that move with your body, not just flatter it.
Look for pieces you can actually live in, without feeling underdressed.
Re-style your classics with one “active luxury” piece (a structured legging, a sleek zip-up, a tech-fabric blazer).
Ask yourself: Do I feel free in this? (That’s the new status symbol.)
✨ Bonus tip: Try styling something sporty with something polished. Unexpected contrast… equals … style magic.
Because elegance isn’t still anymore.
It moves, just like you!
🗓 Life update (and something for you):
I’m heading to Spain for 4 weeks.
Three working. One proper holiday. In Ibiza!!!
Still posting. Still styling. Still chasing my LinkedIn milestone by Sept 30.
And I’ve opened 4 one-on-one styling sessions in August, one each Wednesday, for £299.
Then in September, I’ll be raising my prices.
There’s only one me… and many of you I want to help.
If you’ve been sitting on this for a while… this is your sign.
Here’s what we’ll do together, virtually, in one powerful session:
✔ Discover your body shape + the right brands to dress it.
✔ Create outfit formulas that actually work
✔ Style pieces from your wardrobe that you never wear (but can’t throw away)
✔ Finally identify your accent colours for easy combinations
It’s not about throwing everything out.
But reconnecting with how you want to show up, and dressing like you mean it.
If your body’s saying yes, I’d follow that.
My calendar is open!
Once these four spots are gone, they’re gone.

Luxury used to mean access.
Now it means availability.
Time to move. Time to care. Time to live well.
And my dear, that’s the new elite.
with Love & style,

See you next week!
